Starting in 2020, I started a series of articles that tried to summarize the important or noteworthy releases of every year, starting with 1970. I would go in five year leaps with the articles through out the year, then start the next year and do it again with each one being one year forward. In five years, I had written an article for every year.
Or at least, that was the goal. As I got into the later years, I realized it was kind of difficult to really write anything substantive about that year, so I ended up just writing a few reviews for albums from that year. Some years were better than others, but in the end, I was able to complete them all. Below are the links to every single year I wrote an article for.
